Worldwide Virtual Masters Challenge

As part of a worldwide “virtual” competition in the master categories, a high jump and triple jump competition took place at Schützenmatte. Thomas Hänzi reached 1.61 m in the high jump and 10.69 m in the triple jump.

Masters Meeting in Madeira

On the 19th and 20th of June, an International Masters Meeting with Swiss participation took place in Madeira. Yvan Lovo (M50) and Eric Bohner (M65) took part in the excellently organized competition. The next such event will take place in January 2022.

Evening meeting with javelin, hammer, long jump, shot put, 100m, 200m, 800m, 1500m.

Update: The competition is newly now the SM of the Hammer ThrowMasters .
If athletes have already registered for hammer throwing, they should also register for the corresponding Masters category. The entry fee already paid for the registration by the active participants will be refunded on the spot.

Important, NO late registrations are possible.
Registration is via the Swiss Athletics registration tool by August 2nd.

Although events with up to 1000 people are possible again, we are only allowed to have 300 people in a “zone” (according to the instructions of Swiss Athletics). That’s why we decided that the stadium and the hammer facility are each considered separate zones. However, we must not allow any mixing between these zones.

For this reason it is then not possible for an athlete to register for hammer and javelin, for example.
