Over 40 athletes represented Switzerland at the Masters Athletics 2024 World Championships in Goteborg (SWE). With two gold medals, six silver and one bronze, the Swiss team had an excellent championship.

The most successful Swiss athlete was Margaritha Dähler-Stettler (W75), who returned from Sweden with four medals and four national records. She shone with a gold medal in the long jump, two silvers in the triple jump and heptathlon, and a bronze in the 200 m hurdles. The Swiss delegation reached a total of 11 final places and broke 7 national records.

2025 will be a busy year for Masters athletes, with the WMACI (indoor) in Alachua County (USA) in March, the World Masters Games (IMGA) in Taipei (TPE) in May and the EMAC (outdoor) in Madeira (POR) in October.
