ABOUT SMA
Swiss Masters Athletics (SMA) is the central point of contact for masters athletics in Switzerland. The association organizes competitions, events and championships for athletes aged 30 and over in various track and field disciplines and thus promotes sporting activity in adulthood. SMA is committed to supporting athletics enthusiasts in the long term and making a contribution to physical fitness and well-being.
SMA offers a broad competition program at regional and national level. Athletes can compete in five-year age groups and strive for personal best performances. We also support members aged 35 and over who wish to represent Switzerland at international championships such as the European Masters Athletics Championships or the World Masters Athletics Championships.
A valid Swiss Athletics license is required for membership in SMA.
SMA adheres to the rules and regulations of World Masters Athletics (WMA).
