Swiss Masters Athletics is very pleased to launch a brand-new competition series: the Swiss Masters Series!
For this first edition, the challenge will offer a wide range of events throughout the season, spread across nine meetings in various regions of Switzerland.
The aim is to strengthen the team spirit among Masters athletes and to organize meetings where everyone can compete and connect.
Challenge Rules:
- Performances will be evaluated based on the athlete’s year of birth.
- A ranking will be established in each age category, using the World Athletics scoring tables for individual events (not the combined events tables).
- Each athlete must compete in at least two different events to appear in the final ranking. The total score of the athlete’s two best events will determine their final result.
- The best male and female athlete in each category will receive a special award.
- There will be no separate heats for Masters athletes during the meetings: all athletes will compete together.
