Swiss athletes at the Vorarlberg Indoor Masters 2019.

Numerous older but also younger athletes took part in this year’s Vorarlberger Indoor Masters meet, which were excellently organized by Marianne Maier, W75, who has won several awards in the LA masters scene. From a Swiss point of view, two new Indoor Swiss Masters records are of significance: ‐ Marcel Ritzi, M70, who jumped 1.34m, which is one centimeter higher than a week ago in Magglingen. ‐ Albert Luder, M65, who improved his own 5 kg shot put record of 12.08m set a week ago in Magglingen, by 63cm to an excellent 12.71m. As always, for the CH‐Masters it almost felt like home in the hospitable Northern Vorarlberg (“Canton Rest”).
